Introduction
Welcome to DeckDazzle, a service provided by Perceptron AS ("we," "us," or "our") located in Oslo, Norway. DeckDazzle uses AI to generate decks for PowerPoint Karaoke events.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DeckDazzle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use DeckDazzle. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
User Accounts
Registration: Certain features require you to create an account by providing a valid email address.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Emails we send to you contain authentication codes, and anyone you share them with will get access to the service and your account. If your email account is not properly secured, a breach of your email account can lead to a breach of your DeckDazzle account. We recommend using a trustworthy email provider and multi-factor authentication on your account.
Account Management: You can download your data and delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Use of the Service
License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use DeckDazzle for personal or commercial use.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purposes.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to interfere with the service's functionality or security.
Free Services
You may use any of the freely available content in the Showcase for PowerPoint Karaoke events provided you keep the DeckDazzle logo and link and do not remove any credit lines (photographer's name, service name, link) from slides containing photographs.
Payment and Billing
Custom event generation is a paid service. Several sized packages are available and we accept payment through Stripe and all major credit cards. When you purchase credits they will be added to your account and be available for use for at least 12 months.
Data Storage and Security
Data Storage: Data is stored in data centers located in Sweden. Content may be cached globally on a Content Delivery Network (CDN) depending on where users access the service from.
Communication
Transactional Emails: We send transactional emails related to sign-up, authentication and deck generation. Transactional emails are only sent when necessary and as a result of user interaction. Please note that you cannot opt out of transactional emails necessary for the operation of the service or required by law.
Marketing Emails: We may occasionally send marketing emails about new features or promotions. You can unsubscribe from these emails by using the link provided in the email.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DeckDazzle at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perceptron AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of DeckDazzle.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of DeckDazzle after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
